Prescription & Coloured Contacts

If glasses just are not your thing, that is okay! We have a wide selection of contact lenses to help you see the world around you and function normally at home and at work without adding large accessories to your face. If you’ve never used contacts before, we can also schedule a fitting session so you can get them in and out like a pro!

Need contacts, for reading, driving, or computer work? We’ve got it all with single vision and multifocal contacts.

Acuvue, Air Optix, Biometics, Proclear, and PureVision from major manufacturers such as Alcon, Bausch + Lomb, Cooper Vision, and Johnson & Johnson are just some of the many options you have to choose from.

REPLACEMENT FREQUENCY

We carry monthly, biweekly, and daily contact lenses.

EnChroma® Colour Blind Glasses

Options for Colour-Blindness

Do you or someone you know suffer from colour blindness? We understand the confusion and frustration colour blindness causes in your everyday life and so we’ve partnered with EnChroma® to enhance colour perception for colour blind individuals.

COLOUR BLIND TEST

Unsure if you have colour blindness or want to do a test for fun? EnChroma® has a neat online tool for you to put your eyes through a test: click here. If you’re worried about the results, we recommend seeing an eye care professional who will test your perception of colour and explain their findings to you.

FRAME DESIGN

Worried about attracting attention? EnChroma® frames look and feel like normal glasses and sunglasses with numerous indoor and outdoor designs to choose from so you won’t ever be the centre of attention (unless of course you show off your new specs to other colour blind friends who will probably try to steal your pair from you!). Other benefits include a lightweight and sturdy frames using thermoplastic TR-90 construction with impact protection that exceeds FDA standards by over 50 times their recommendation, ophthalmic grade lens materials with anti-reflective coatings to maximize clarity and reduce haze, oil resistant (oleophobic) and water resistant (hydrophobic) coatings to repel water/dust/sweat and make cleaning easier, and 100% UVA/B protection to protect you from the sun’s harmful rays!

PRESCRIPTION

EnChroma® lenses can most definitely be fitted with your prescription so you can see the world’s colour as clearly as possible!

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?

It sure does sound like it. EnChroma lenses filter out select wavelengths of light that overlap in red-green colour blindness and therefore confuses what the brain interprets in an estimated 80% of individuals with colour blindness.
